Weekend Accomplishments...

If "accomplishment" means what I did to myself, I managed to throw out my back! Getting old definitely sucks! I was picking up a piece of paper on the front stairs. I was not in a hurry. I wasn't making sudden or jerky movements. I simply bent down slightly and straighted myself up to a pain I had never known before! I managed to get myself back into the house and DH had to go pick up the stuff I left outside. There went my weekend plans. Here's to hoping driving to work won't be too much of a problem tomorrow!

I did manage finishing a few projects before I was rendered immobile and invalid for the weekend!  Here's another layout with a garden theme :)  Using the Sweet Peach Crop Shop's September Sweet kit, and mostly Jillibean Soup products, the radishes get their tribute :)

Here is a close-up.  These Amy Tangerine Thickers from American Crafts are just way too adorable :)  The stitches really dress them up and I didn't have to draw them on :)  fabulousness!  The radish at the lower right hand corner is a Cricut cut using the Country Life cartridge, exactly what this layout needs :)
All right folks, it's time to get some needed rest.  My dad told me to sleep on the wood floor so that my back wouldn't "sink in" permanently.  I say it's illegal to practice chiropractics without a license!

Glad to see that you still have your sense of humor even if you're in pain! Hope your back feels better quickly! Your page makes me want to eat radishes, especially that perfect little diecut! :)

Oooh, so sorry to hear about your back, Jing Jing. I've done that several times to myself, just bending to do a little weeding. Now just the slightest thing tends to put my back out. The joys of getting older, I say....
Love your radish layout. Such a fun theme and photos. I think the radish die cut at the bottom is absolutely perfect. Love those fun buttons, too.
Hope you recover quickly and get to feeling better soon. :)

Just come from a loooong peak at Pearl's blog and have now giggled my way through a string of nothing but fabulous posts over here. Ha ha you say old age sucks, you just wait till you get to my age and then you'll know that it really sucks for sure ;)) Those radishes have really gotten tender loving care, crikey they are almost the size of apricots! and hey, I can hop on a plane to Egypt in a few hours but I don't have cute daughters or a back yard full of apples or strawberries. Would trade with you for a couple of weeks if you let your tenants stay as houseguests while I'm crashing your house. LOVE every single layout you have created and bet we'll be seeing many of them in magz! todeloo! E
