When You Believe

This layout is done using the Work in Progress January kit.  While that kit is sold out, take a peek at the February kit add-on, can somebody say October Afternoon?  swoooon...

The layout is best explained by its journaling:

In the last few weeks, the kids and I got hooked on the song “When You Believe,” the theme song of the Prince of Egypt movie. Amelie in particular calls it her favorite song. I have it on the playlist with GrooveShark, every time we get to this song, she would loudly proclaim that it is her favorite song! We listen to it on Youtube in Mandarin most of the time, and I must say, the lyrics are very inspirational, no matter what language!

I peeled off the Jillibean Soup sticker sheet's "negative" and used it to enhance the patterned paper.  Misting using the sticker negatives as a template would have worked as well.
Well, the Vikings season is officially over.  Whatever I may or may not believe, it's gonna have to wait till later this year.  I believe... there will be an NFL season come this September...  :)

Love the red/white/black combo! I've always wanted to try that alpha negative thing--it looks so cool :)

Oh, and since you mentioned the Vikings . . . DS (he is 7) and I were working on a school project. He chose Norway. I told him the Vikings were from Norway. "The football team?" he asked. LOL

Whoa, I've never heard this in Chinese...I just found it on YouTube and its fab. Reminds of when my brother and I were little, we used to watch all the Disney musicals dubbed in Mandarin and we loved them....ok, I loved them... my brother was like 3 so he loved anything with Disney. Anyhoo enough of my childhood... love the use of the fun background sticker sheet . Fab layout!
