While we were out there, First Born found someone her age and wouldn't be parted from her new friend. Second Child and I made our ways to the Barn to check out the sheep. There were many sheep indeed and they all smelled badly, lol. As I stood there watching, Bruce asked me what I thought of the sheep, and I said "Lamb chops." So it was from that moment, 12 years into being a part of this family, I found out that we could actually purchase a sheep directly from Bruce's family farm! The discussion and transaction that followed were done rapidly, so now we have a sheep!!! Turns out that there is one ram that needs to go very soon, hurray! I should left instructions to fatten it up more, lol, but can someone say "Leg of Lamb?" I am so excited!
Before I go and dream of lamb biryani, I do have a scrappy project to share. Using Cosmo Cricket's Togetherness (heart it), SRM Stickers (Everyday Girl and Everyday Boy), and a really fun Bazzill loopy edge, I bring you her version of jump roping, lol. This is how her mother feels like doing, jumping for joy, over the sheep, L O L.

oh jing jing, i too was really surprised to see that all this sheep excitement was over a meal. i was so hoping for news about a pet lamb for the girls to cuddle.
Cute layout.
I did try lamb once, really didn't care for it. But then again hubby cooked it LOL.
I am re-reading your post because I'm confused by the comments. It appears that you purchased a lamb... a live one. Not a leg of lamb to eat, right? One can't be sure when it comes to the mind of Jing-Jing Nickel. So I ask... WTF are you planning to do with said lamb & where will it reside... in your craft room?
Must go off to bed before this situation stresses me out. Baaaaaaahhhh! LOL!!!!!!
I was a little puzzled by your title at first, u managed to get me there!! Lol. Lamb briyani is yummo!!
Totally love ur take on the layout especially with the circles u created, looks like it is part of the photo :)
seriously I laugh so hard with lamb Byrani.... so funny! And you asked me a question about the heart border in one of my LO, I used a Martha Stewart punch and then cut on the shape and stick it down behind my circle page.
I hope the kids don't get too attached to the sheep before it becomes dinner. LOL. Great layout, as usual.

You are hilarious and that's one of the reasons we love you so much. One of the others? ... your brilliant scrappy style! xoxox
Oh so cute! :) Love you fun layout with the loops and use of color! And you guys did Tday already??? Man... Lots of tasty food? :D My mom used to make an Asian fusion Tday meal and I really miss it... my in-laws don't do anything Asian (not sure why) so I can't even try to do any of my real Tday faves... anyhoo, hope you guys had a good one!
