A WIP July Layout Using MFT Stamps

The August WIP kit landed at my house today!  I am so looking forward to digging in! First I am posting the two layouts that have yet to make an appearance here on my blog :)  I stamped the sentiments from My Favorite Memories' Clearly Sentimental about You set. Sentiments aren't just for card makers. Use them as journaling!  I love it!

Here is a close-up of the stamped sentiments as journaling :)

Sure I can use this summery fun Echo Park paper on a winter layout :) Banners work for winters too! lol.  I even painted the title "snow" with Shimmerz Blingz to make it shimmery like snow.  It's hard to see but please take my word for it :)  I am not dwelling on this one, winter will be here soon enough, sigh...
Next Saturday, I'm going to meet Jenny and scrapbook with her!!  I'm very excited because she is a very accomplished scrapbooker and I appreciate good grammar, hee hee!!  Then... the week after that is CHA!  I'm going for the first time. I'm going to meet a lot more people that I've admired over the fiber optics cables.  You know who you are and I hope I can remain calm and collected. :)

Sooo many fun ideas here! You used summer papers on a winter page? Brilliant! The colors are so vibrant and happy and 'girly' ... and simply perfect with your photo! Love how you used the banner as the rays of the sun. Seriously. Who thinks of this stuff? And ... were you just lucky that the sun you stamped the Sentiments around had a big red 2 on it .. or did you add that? Either way ... your title work on that one is inspiring to be sure! Love what you do, girl. And ... I've told you before. Hold on to your hat, girl ... your FIRST CHA trip will be one of THE BEST experiences in YOUR LIFE!! xoxoxo
