Helmar ScrapDots and Quick Dry Adhesive

Helmar is having a video contest and interestingly enough, I have extolled Helmar's virtue in several posts and had wanted to do a video demo of the scrapdots for quite some time. I may not win, but they do have two products that I use often and love: Scrapdots and Quick Dry Adhesive.

Here is the layout I showed in the video.  I've held onto it for two months now, I really love it.  The "I" or the bone in the title is adhered using Helmar's Scrapdots.  Another thanks go out to Laina Lamb for her wonderful digital diecuts. The blue frame is cut from a free download from her blog.

One last thing, the winner of the Midnight Rooster mini-kit giveaway has been sent to the "authorities."  It will be announced on the Midnight Rooster's blog.  Thank you for your lovely comments. Only after the winners were crowned, did I truly realize I am a German soccer fan :) after all, I was first captured and enraptured in 1990.  So yes, I'm heartbroken :)

cool ! great to see how the Scrap Dots actually work ! not sure that we can get a lot of Helmar stuff here but will surely look out for 'em !

At last , World Cup is over ! & what a final with lots of refereeing controversies thrown into the whole mix ! I'm only glad Spain won in the end ! I much prefer their style of play in this particular final , no doubt about it ! duh !!! But it was a bummer that Germany did not make the finals this time ! better a Germany versus Spain final to me ! hrrmph !

Great little demo video there, JJ! I have Scrap Dots and never remember to use it. I think I bought them one time after using it in a class and then forgot about it - so you have reminded me to use it :)

I thought I already commented on this, but it was from my new phone so who knows. LOVED your tutorial, you are very good on camera and you explain things so that even I can understand them. :) I have some Helmar and I love Tracy so I have seen the finished layouts with the scrap dots, but I had never really seen them in action and now I really hope to see them in more stores. Those are awesome!

AND WOOHOO! I am so happy to have won the MR mini kit. I just cant wait to play. thanks
