Midnight Rooster in June

I worked on Midnight Rooster layouts all weekend long so I thought it's time to post more of my June Rooster layouts since the June kit in all its glory is up for sale!

Here is my crazy fashionista girl who insisted on wearing her winter hat in August. She was cute though, sigh...
Here's a close-up.
This next layout is really all about Helmar's Scrap Dots. Have you tried it? It is truly a wonderful product!
I stacked the yellow thickers atop of the American Crafts fence chipboard using Helmar's liquid scrap dot. What's so neat about the liquid scrap dots is that I can squeeze out enough adhesive, put the piece down and scrape excessive amounts and wait for it to dry. The "p" here barely touches the "a" and "e" next to it, but the liquid scrap dot holds it up. It is particularly useful for small areas where a foam dot must be trimmed down significantly to use.

Here's the full layout, a really simple one :) I created a border on the left hand-side with the stamp included in the kit.  The same stamp can be used to frame one's journaling like I did in the first layout. So don't forget to check out the Midnight Rooster kit to get your own!

Okay ... what I want to know is are your girls naturally that funny and photogenic at the same time or ... do you coerce them into wearing funny hats and pose so innocently for your camera? Oh yeah ... and one more thing ... do you LIVE with your SLR draped around you neck and cover it with a plastic bag when you shower? I'm serious .. you've got the BEST candid pictures I've ever seen ... in subject AND in quality! hehehehe Adorable pages, hon ... you KNOW I love your work. And .. thanks for sharing you product knowledge with us. I'm gonna have to try the scrap dots. I mean ... it's not like I have enough dimension on MY pages already. bbwwahahahaha

I have seen those liquid scrap dots before - I think Donna Downey might use them? They look great! I have several rolls of glue dots that I won in some competition or other but once they're all gone, I might investigate!

I love all the criss-cross movement on your Fashion Sense layout. Totally cute!
