Kite Flying...

Finally... I dug into "Fly a Kite" by October Afternoon. I confess that I love everything October Afternoon has ever produced. And sometimes I am glad that I hold onto my stash because the perfect photos did present themselves. Aubree accused me of buying the kites for the kids for scrapbooking purposes, but all credit goes to DH for these cheapo flying fun machines :)

The banners are from a new Cricut Cartridge "Create a Critter." It's a beyond adorable cartridge. I also used a Rusty Pickle chipboard frame that I have had in my stash for four years now. I miss that company so much!

Here are a couple of close-up shots of the layout. In the second photo, you can see the string of her kit behind her which I connected with the OA kite rubon :) I liked it :) Thank you for checking in!! And here's to the U.S. soccer team tomorrow!! Fingers crossed :)

Le Sigh. Now I shall have to make a trip to the $ store for cheapo kites to attempt and recreate your greatness.

I still have a secret stash of Rusty Pickle. Save them for special occasions only. I will cry when I run out.
