Weekend Productive

Memorial Day Weekend is now behind me. I scrapped furiously this weekend and felt that I had accomplished much. Then I look at the projects I can upload to share, well, there aren't a lot! That's not necessarily a bad thing. They say when it comes to blogging, consistency and regular updates are important.

So Steve and Anna are having a baby, I tasked myself to make a baby card for them for work. I have already made over five baby cards, but I must say how much I love making cards. I continue to shed my self-imposed neurotic "only scraps on cards" mentality, results are much more pleasing to my own self... However, I do wonder what I'm going to do with all these bulky cards. The stash for the United Way auctions continue to grow.

So I settled on this one for Steve and Anna, I don't know, it looks good enough for submission, lol...

Finally, I participated in the Memorial Day Challenge at Scrapbook Obsessions. This is a scraplift of a layout by Davinie Fiero, more than less :) I thought it would be a quick and easy layout since I didn't have to come up with the idea myself, but the hand-stitching takes forever, but it looks pretty good. Another layout done, and stash reduced, what more can I ask for eh?
