I actually don't have a lot of Prima stuff, very little in fact! But I saw an example by the Prima DT and had to lift it since I have all the stuff on hand!

Another layout for SO challenge!

This one is my favorite of the three I created for the challenges over the past weekend! The photo is still blurry, but it will do...
The Fancy Pants paper's pink and green match exactly her bib and the spoon she's holding. And yes, this is a post-haircut photo!! I used Martha Stewart's flower punch! Wow, it's awesome, thanks Lorie for pointing me to yet another possible money-draining collection!!

New Challenges at SO

I am so glad that I was able to create LOs in the challenges Chantele hosted. This past weekend I devoted my scrapping time to creating LOs for the Feb. newsletter so I didn't do any for the challenges. I didn't want to run out of paper either since three of the four challenges are to use February's kit.

Here are two that I did last night:

Valentine Card Making Beginneth!

This is a complete card-lift of LilyBean. I tried to stick to her design as much as possible. I had a lot of fun making it.

Girls and Owls

Owls and birds took the scrapbooking industry by the storm. I'm pretty sure that storm hasn't subsided yet. I actually really like owls, probably because they are all pretty cute, and having two daughters, well, cute is good!

The Sassafras Owl Pal line, well, what can I say? It looked pretty cute online before I bought it. Once I got them, first, I can't stop sniffing that paper, smells so incredibly good, that crisp, new, cardstock PP smell, lol! Then, I could only kick myself for ordering 1 sheet of each of the patterns!!

I finally got to using this adorably delicious line tonight. I was so determined that I was going to finish a LO tonight and I did. I plan to use this paper for lots of cute cards. I look forward to doing that tomorrow.

Aloha to RP paper

I've had these bright and fun RP paper for 2 years now. I love this line. I've used the less tropical ones on summer LOs, but the beach hut, the flip flops, and the surf boards I hadn't used till this LO. At the time I bought these paper, I would have no idea that I was going to HI again so "soon" but we did, and I loved using this paper. After all, what better place for paper or embellies that I love than to be in my scrapbooks and on my pages??
I used a Hambly overlay, and then used new Pearl paint from Ranger to paint the MM chipboard letters that I've had forever as well.

Over the long weekend

Over the weekend, Chantele sponsored an items challenge at Scrapbook Obsessions, my beloved kit club where I have the pleasure to DT. Of course, I'm all over those challenges. They are incredibly motivating and productive.

I always start each one thinking "oh this one I won't do, I can't..." but guess what? I always end up doing each one of the challenges unless time is REALLY tight.
The resolutions are not very high on these photos, but they will do...

How I love the Creative Imaginations Karen Russell's Narratives line! The circle is a sticker from that collection! That lady is an amazing product designer!

I used paper Scrapologie kit from nearly 1.5 years ago for this layout. I always feel wonderful using "older" stuff!

This one is done with Scarlet Lime December kit!! I also used the Heidi Swapp's dot mask, that mask is a treasure! I have several of her masks, and this one is by far my favorite.

LilyBean's New Year Challenge

Well, it is only fitting that my first scrapping project on this blog is a card for LilyBean's challenge. Melissa is my card making idol!

Here is my attempt:
I doodlebug glittered the chipboard, and the snowman is sporting three small rhinestones.
I used AC felt "hi." Hopefully it's pink enough!
I used acetate to really pop out the snowman, maybe a bit too much, oh well.
